Please remember these are dream movie casts by this fan. Because of this, a lot of characters that don't get much screen time are fairly large names. Who knows, if it came down to it, I'd like to think that LKH's work would speak for itself and all movie people would jump at the chance to be a part of the project, no matter how small.

Age Note: There are a great range of ages in these pages. I've cast my current favorite actor for each roll (sometimes regardless of age or lifespan). Several of these choices couldn't be cast in the same movie because of this, but these are "dream" casts, right?

While I take suggestions for people or better pictures, but I would prefer a URL, not an attachment. Names work too, I just might not get to them as fast. I've now got an "also suggested" area on pages that are warranted. If you have a suggestion I don't agree with, I'll still try to post them.

Laurell K. Hamilton has created an alternate universe that is a cross between our own and one where supernatural creatures such as vampires, werewolves, and zombies are not only real, but legal citizens. Anita (our heroine) is an animator - she raises zombies for a living. She is also attached to a special police investigation team because of her unusually strong talents. Like any good character, Anita has grown throughout her books. She began with an "us or them" attitude about humans and "monsters". She has since seen that line blurred so much she sometimes wonders which category she even falls in. Be forewarned, Anita's early books were for mature teenagers and up, her later books have been described by some as "soft porn".
